    Regional Sales Manager

    Job Location: Germany North/West

    As a key member of the European sales team, you will have the responsibility to achieve the sales targets and drive long term profitability and sell through for the assigned Accounts in the region of Germany North/West

     

    Main Activities & Responsibilities:
    • Service and acquire all important accounts across the region
    • Articulate a profound understanding of the marketplace in the context of the Spyder vision
    • Develop and build strong strategic partnerships
    • Focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business
    • Present product and marketing concepts for the relevant product categories
    • Manage sell-in process by adhering to recommended assortments to maximize full price selling and margin incl. product presentation
    • Develop and implement effective and efficient strategic account plans and seasonal action plans based on category and channel strategies
    • Provide detailed sales analyses that accurately reflect demand in the marketplace and gather and actively share relevant business/market intelligence
    • Monitor account results with assigned categories and initiate corrective action as necessary
    • Partner with marketing and retail merchandising on in store events and marketing campaigns
    • Ensure effective and efficient management of account requests in alignment with all departments (Logistics, Finance, IT, Customer Service, Marketing)

    Skills and Requirements

    Professional Experience: approx. 3 years sales experience in the Sports/Lifestyle industry

     

    Essential Skills & Personality:
    • Knowledge of the Sports/Lifestyle market in the region North/West Germany
    • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
    • Solid knowledge and understanding of the retail landscape
    • Ability to present ideas and gain commitment at management level
    • Strong reporting and analytical skills, ability to set and monitor KPI’s
    • Financial and commercial awareness
    • Proven track record in growing profitable sales in a premium branded environment
    • Active participant in sports with understanding of a wide range of activities
    • Good communicator and presenter, with strong interpersonal skills
    • Able to demonstrate leadership and influencing skills
    • Teamplayer with a friendly and professional attitude
    • Must be well organized
    • Flexibility and ability to work independently or within the team
    • Ability to travel and spend significant time away from home
