    Purpose of the Job


    This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can juggle multiple projects and thrives in a changing, fast-paced, commercial and creative environment. The candidate must be a self-starting business developer, committed and highly motivated in creating and maintaining relationships in the United States.  They will have the ability to pitch and negotiate with key companies and clients as well as displaying a ‘can do’ attitude to working across all business functions both internal and external.




    Strategy and Innovation

    -Drive long-term high revenue partnerships that build 3 year pipeline performance

    -Strategic planning and implementation of the brand extension process, delivering against clients expectations

    -Share insights on analysis, trend and trade performance

    -Build broader knowledge within specific categories to achieve ‘category expert’ status

    Operations and Results

    - Focus and deliver on the budget and KPI’s set

    - Take responsibility for specific sectors and categories

    - The negotiation of contracts on behalf of the company and clients

    - Create 3 year projections for specified brands in line with overall forecasting processes

    Customers and Relationships

    -Build, nurture and establish strong working relationships with licensors

    -Build a strong  network across multiple industries


    Skills and Requirements

    - Minimum of 6-8 years Business Development experience  

    - Graduate calibre, with good understanding of business

    - Experience of working with businesses and key decision makers across multiple categories

    - Ability to implement projects with a high level of detail and complexity

    - Target driven and capacity to work in a fast paced environment and prioritise workload

    - Positive can-do approach and solution orientated style

    - Persuasive skills to influence others

    - Brand/Company relationships across the United States

    - Team player, supportive of colleagues and management to achieve team goals

    - Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
