  • Specific Responsibilities

    Primary responsibility to partner with Director, Brand Management in the implementation of merchandising and licensing program in support of revenue goals.

     

    Secondary responsibility will be to oversee production of licensed merchandise in support of brand business objectives


    Responsibilities: 
    Program Management

    • Act as day to day contact for all assigned categories or licensees within the business
    • Day to day liaison between client and licensees; obtain and communicate regular updates on retail sales, marketing/promotional and product development initiatives to ensure all opportunities are maximized
    • Monitor licensee contractual compliance (product, distribution, advertising and rights)
    • Support receipt of quarterly projections, and dissemination of brand marketing plans
    • Work closely with the brand owner to update licensees on all relevant news regarding brand and other licensees including market trends, brand marketing campaigns and program wide initiatives
    • Prepare agenda and manage regularly scheduled internal team meetings, partner updates and meetings/call with client; ensure that sales, marketing and all updates have been prepared by the team and ready for presentation
    • Identify new opportunities/white space and create sales and brand presentations and sell sheets as necessary to support sales/retail initiative

     

     

    Responsibilities: Product Development

    • Responsible for executing day to day implementation and coordination of product development approvals across all licensees and multiple brands
    • Provide vision and guidance to partners on optimal execution of brand assets on retail products
    • Manage inventory of samples across all stages of product development
    • Maintain and update sales materials, brand assets, visual line lists, placement charts and catalogs
    • Interface with creative/marketing services on licensee product development, approvals, and other creative projects/initiatives

    Skills and Requirements

    • The ideal candidate must have at 3 - 5 years in licensing brand management and/or consumer products goods experience.
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Fast paced environment requires a dedicated self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit 
    • Strong inter-personal, communication and organizational skills required
    • Organized with excellent attention to detail
    • Experience in directly communicating with licensees and licensors
    • Proficiency in Brand Comply or similar product approval systems will be given priority
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
