  • Specific Responsibilities

    We’re looking for an energetic communicator to join our Global Internal Communications team based in New York. As a Internal Communications Manager, you will support in monitoring, seeding and enhancing the global growth and use of our Internal Communications platform and Social Networking site by leveraging your creative, writing and relationships-building expertise. 


    This role requires communicating to different offices and groups of people around the world.  Therefore, persuasive writing and excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interpret and tailor communications to different groups of people and cultures is essential.

    Our intranet enables communication, collaboration and access to corporate news and employee information. In the role, you will partner with businesses to help them share their news and updates across the Group. And as part of the Internal Communications team, you will work with various functional areas including HR and Marketing to develop messages to support key corporate initiatives.


    The perfect candidate will be a flexible all-rounder. In addition to having excellent English writing and editing skills, we’re looking for someone who can juggle a number of assignments and has the ability to self-prioritize their workload to achieve deadlines. Previous experience writing for a global audience is an advantage. Keen focus and exceptional attention to detail is a must!

    Daily responsibilities include:

    • Writing and editing engaging content and sourcing updates from across the business to keep the newsfeed fresh. Ensure content is consistent in terms of tone, style, and messaging.
    • Conducting interviews and writing feature stories about our brands our businesses and our people.
    • Moderating the site and user conduct, answering posted questions, updating FAQs, creating training materials (virtual and face-to-face) to help users, groups, teams, and business units get the most from the platform.
    • Responsible for writing and sending the weekly e-newsletter to an internal distribution list.
    • Working with the global IT team to identify and resolve issues with the system.
    • Monitoring usage and investigating root cause when activity is below expectation.
    • Providing ongoing feedback on user needs and make recommendations on the interface, suggesting customization and enhanced functionality when appropriate.
    • Weekly/monthly reporting consisting of both qualitative and quantitative measurements that help evaluate success based on input from users, site metrics, and other content contributors.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field required.
    • 5-7+ years of experience working in a digital communications or a community management environment.
    • Excellent communicator with proven track record of effectively managing projects and delivering internal communications programs.
    • Solid understanding of internal communications techniques.
    • Experience with change management best practices, a plus.
    • Strong communications and written skills.
    • Excellent relationship management skills.
    • Superior organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Ability to think beyond the expected.
