  • Specific Responsibilities

    Planning Responsibilities

    • Assist in managing the Planning processes to meet volume, profit and inventory objectives.
    • Execute the seasonal assortments and sales forecasts per season.
    • Adhere to the production development calendar.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teammates on key deliverables to mitigate risk and meet business goals.
    • Create and issue sales KPI’s and product performance reports on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis.
    • Interface with other areas of the business as needed to ensure proper support and coordination of planning and product issues.
    • Communicate issues to Manager and recommend action to ensure inventory and financial objectives are met.
    • Special projects as assigned.

    Buying Responsibilities

     

    • Assist buyer in completing planned collection buys on time.
    • Creation of weekly, monthly, quarterly reports / analysis.
    • Pull ATS availability for Buyer to review for replenishment strategy.
    • Enter Demand in IBT.
    • Track and maintain product flow in SAP AFS and IS-R.
    • Maintain pricing and execute MD’s in SAP IS-R.
    • Create and maintain line-sheets / merch boards.
    • Track shipment ETA’s.
    • Ensure timely allocation from TSG and receipt at PFS.
    • Communicate and manage any receiving issues.
    • Manage Image log, and assist in procuring necessary samples for ecommerce and creative content shoots.
    • Upload content feed - ensure all copy is complete and exported to content feed.
    • Ensure Item Master has transmitted.
    • Partner with Site merchandising team to ensure Buying vision is executed on site. 

    Skills and Requirements

    • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented.
    • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative.
    • Basic knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, silhouettes, color ways, sewing techniques, fabrication and trim.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in fashion design.
    • 1 plus years related experience and/or training in apparel.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products and Mac computers; knowledge of CAD preferable.
