• Internal Communications Consultant

  • Specific Responsibilities

    • Manage corporate communications campaigns and editorial projects for various internal stakeholders
    • Help to continually evolve the corporate intranet and ensure the site’s success through an engaging mix of company news, tools and resources
    • Write, edit and proofread articles for intranet, including stories about our exciting portfolio of brands, like Frye, Juicy Couture and Spyder
    • Partner with design team to maintain consistent aesthetic of intranet
    • Attend and report on company events, interview employees
    • Provide feedback and support on executive communications
    • Write and proofread content for emails, event signage and videos
    • Support ongoing coordination of team content calendar
    • Conceptualize and pitch new content ideas
    • Ongoing tasks as assigned


    • Newsletter
      o Write and distribute company-wide weekly newsletter
      o Submit draft for approval prior to sending, make necessary edits and additions
    • New hires
      o Liaise with HR partners around the world to gather information and photos of monthly new hires
      o Organize, draft and submit content in a timely fashion for monthly intranet article
    • External press
      o Maintain Google Alerts for our brands as pipeline of internal content ideas and news
      o Manage external press hits submitted by brands
      o Judiciously decide which press hits should be shared in press section on intranet, receive full article treatment or require follow-up with brand
    • Employee content series
      o Manage various content series for intranet featuring employees around the world to maintain consistent pipeline and schedule of people stories for intranet
      o Draft interview questions and interview employees (via phone, email or in-person), submit first draft of content and apply subsequent rounds of edits

    Skills and Requirements

    • At least 5 years of related work experience, preferably in corporate communications
    • Experience working on an intranet highly desirable
    • Ability to deliver accurate results in a very fast-paced environment
    • Active approach to problem solving and taking initiative
    • Keen focus and attention to detail, excellent follow-up abilities
    • Great juggling and multi-tasking skills
    • Ambition to learn and desire to help the team succeed
    • Creative, open-minded and eager to brainstorm
    • Positive, professional and can-do attitude
    • Trustworthy and discreet with sensitive information
