  • Specific Responsibilities

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • Lead specific brand management and category responsibilities
    • Implementation of the corporate strategy for Seven Global
    • Leverage and relationship manage brand partners
    • Work in co-ordination with GBG internal teams (creative, legal, finance etc)
    • Effectively manage relationships with David Beckham Brand team
    • Responsibility for commercial forecasting processes and budgeting


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Strategy & Innovation:
    • Researching, developing and writing brand, retail and category strategy
    • Strategic planning and implementation of brand extension
    • Build broader knowledge within specific categories to achieve ‘category expert’ status
    • Share insights on consumer, brand, category and retail analysis including trend and trade performance
    • Drive long-term high revenue partnerships that build 3-5 year pipeline performance

     

    Operations & Results:
    • Create 3-5 year projections for specified partnerships in line with overall forecasting processes
    • Focus and deliver budgets and KPI’s
    • Take responsibility for specific sectors and categories
    • Responsible for the management of the whole brand extension process
    • Oversee and manage existing partner performance


    Customers & Relationships:
    • Build, nurture and establish strong working relationships and influence with partners
    • Identify and cultivate key relationships at all management levels
    • Ensure brand extension is managed effectively
    • Build a strong network across strategic sectors

     

    Leadership & Teams:
    • Inspire and motivate colleagues within Seven Global, GBG and the David Beckham Brand team to achieve strategic goals
    • Build, nurture and manage partnerships, both new and existing
    • Work cohesively with other team members to deliver successful brand extension

    Skills and Requirements

    Skills & Qualifications:
    • At least 7 years’ brand management experience in Apparel, Beauty, Celebrity Business or related areas
    • Highly demonstrable leadership capability
    • Experience of working with commercial partners across multiple categories
    • Ability to strategically plan and implement projects with a high level of detail and complexity
    • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
    • Positive can-do approach and solution orientated style
    • Persuasive skills to lead and influence others
