  • Specific Responsibilities

    • To provide high level support, reporting, analysis and project work to the Head of Operations;
    • Continuous improvement approach to identify new solutions to streamline logistics flow;
    • Ensure that logistics KPI are aligned with SLA;
    • Liaise with 3PL to solve logistics issues in all warehouses;
    • Manage all inbound logistics requirements taking into consideration business and customer priorities;
    • Ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods into all warehouses.




    Strategy & Innovation:

    • To support the Head of Operations in the implementation of the new logistics flow through a warehouse in China;
    • Provide 3PL with forecasts to determine most efficient warehouse layout;
    • Liaise with 3PL to determine new way to simplify and streamline processes , increase productivity and save costs;
    • Selection of best forwarders in order to minimize costs and guarantee a proper service level;
    • Support the AX system migration project.


    Operations & Results:

    • Provide 3PL with forecasted workload with Senior Customer Service Manager;
    • Solve any potential issue with 3PL and forwarder;
    • Minimize and keep logistics costs under control;
    • To provide reporting and analysis to the Head of Operations;
    • Oversee freight forwarders on shipping schedules and arrival dates;
    • Oversee bookings for consignment deliveries into relevant warehouses;
    • Process goods received from the factories into all warehouses;
    • Managing stock adjustments for returned stock liaising with the Customer Services and Credit Control;
    • Managing waste packaging declarations for all customers and for GBG Europe;
    • Keep the ERP updated, perform stock movements and transfers to align data between the systems;
    • Housekeeping on stock discrepancies – processing write-offs, providing Finance with support for adjustments that may be required from time to time;
    • Provide 3PL with all required data to create Intrastate declaration;
    • Update logistics reports (Orders In / Orders Out/ Inbound);
    • Organize all activities needed to recondition goods;
    • Allocate stock accurately & in accordance with agreed priorities;
    • Any other ad hoc duties as and when required;


    Customers & Relationships:

    • Customer’s rework cost estimate
    • Manage all inbound logistics working with the Customer Service Manager to prioritise shipments in line with customer requirements;

    Leadership & Teams:

    • Coordinate and train logistics team
