  • Specific Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Global VPs of Strategy, the Director of Strategy (EMEA) at CAA-GBG will lead the team at a regional level, supporting both the Business Development and Brand Management functions with insights-driven sales literature and commercial strategies. With management responsibility of 2x Strategy Managers as well as significant exposure to senior stakeholders, the role provides ample opportunity to guide high-level decision making for the world’s largest brand extension & experience company.

    In brief, you will be responsible for:


    • Workflow management of the EMEA Strategy team
    • Ongoing management of the data & analytics resource suite, in line with business needs
    • Market mapping, industry/category trend analysis and brand landscape assessment
    • Converting insights into compelling selling stories and commercial strategies
    • Maintaining close relationships with New Business, Brand Management and Creative teams

    • Managing the Americans, and EMEA, help-desks, ensuring accurate, informative and timely responses


    Skills and Requirements


    Your experience and competencies will include:

    • Proven track-record in the composition and communication of strategic commercial strategies for large clientele
    • Significant experience in strategic consulting and/or in-house strategic roles
    • Past experience in developing, engaging and retaining a small team of strategy professionals
    • Analytically-minded, critical thinker with the ability to balance numerous tasks and opportunities
    • Excellent business judgement and agility, with the ability to evolve according to fast-changing market environment
    • Ability to cut through complexities and deliver robust, executable commercial strategies
    • Comfortable delivering under pressure to multiple internal and external stakeholders on short timeframes
    • Knowledge of emerging global market trends, as well a deep understanding of emerging cultural and competitive practices
    • Inclusive partner management and interpersonal skills
    • Confident and comfortable in communicating/presenting complex information simply to senior level stakeholders
