  • Specific Responsibilities


    • Have specific brand management and category responsibilities
    • Creation and implementation of the licensing and retail strategy for Corporate Brands & Entertainment Brands
    • Recruit and leverage new licensees (manufacturers/distributors/retailers)
    • Work in co-ordination with CAA-GBG internal teams (creative, legal, finance and PD)
    • Effectively manage relations with licensors, licensees and retailers
    • Responsibility in sales forecasting processes and budgeting
    • Influence the Product Development process on specified brands



    Strategy & Innovation:
    • Researching, developing and writing brand, retail and category strategy
    • Strategic planning and implementation of the brand extension process
    • Build broader knowledge within specific categories to achieve ‘category expert’ status
    • Share insights on retail analysis, trend and trade performance
    • Drive long term high revenue partnerships that build 3 year pipeline performance


    Operations & Results:
    • Create 3 year projections for specified brands in line with overall forecasting processes
    • Focus and deliver budgets and KPI’s set
    • Take responsibility for specific sectors and categories
    • Responsible for the management of the whole brand extension process for specified brands
    • Deliver DTRs, where appropriate, on specified brands with support from the division
    • Oversee and manage existing key licensees performance within specified categories


    Customers & Relationships:
    • Build, nurture and establish strong working relationships with licensees and licensors (if needed)
    • Identify and cultivate new licensee and retail relationships at all management levels
    • Ensure brand extension is managed effectively
    • Build a strong retail network across strategic sectors (Buyers, Executives)


    Leadership & Teams:
    • Inspire and motivate junior members of the CAA-GBG team to achieve strategic goals
    • Collaborate with the Product Development (PD) team to ensure a commercial approach is applied throughout the PD process
    • Support in the development of the German Brands Team Coordinator, giving mentoring and guidance as necessary
    • Build, nurture and manage partnerships, both new and existing for all specified brands
    • Work cohesively with other team members to deliver successful brand extension programs.

    Skills and Requirements

    Skills & Qualifications:
    • At least 7 years experience in Licensing Business or related areas
    • Leadership Quality
    • Experience of working with retailers and across multiple categories
    • Ability to strategically plan and implement projects with a high level of detail and complexity
    • Capacity to work in a fast paced environment and prioritise workload
    • Positive can-do approach and solution orientated style
    • Persuasive skills to lead and influence others

    • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
