  • Specific Responsibilities

    The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead recruitment efforts to source and hire talent for Global Brands Group. This role will be a hands-on role that is versed in high volume staffing and managing full cycle recruitment campaigns to attract top talent.  In addition, this role will be a key member of the Human Resources team and will collaborate with business partners and business leaders to ensure that strategic business objectives are achieved.


    • Strategically leads the recruitment process for a diverse variety of positions including Creative (merchandising, sales, design, etc. for footwear, men’s & women’s apparel) across GBG’s portfolio of brands
    • Effectively build strong relationships with key stakeholder and cross functional teams including Talent Acquisition, HR and Business leaders to ensure that staffing initiatives are aligned with the strategic business objectives
    • Leads strategic projects supporting talent pipeline, on-boarding, talent diversity, and full lifecycle recruiting effectiveness
    • Establish and build relationships with hiring managers to understand position requirements and identify appropriate methods to source candidates in a timely and cost-effective manner
    • Identify, recruit, interview, evaluate and refer internal and external candidates to hiring managers for all brands under the GBG Portfolio
    • Partner with Human Resources Business Partners to understand the business unit, strategies, recruitment needs and to create a partnership that ensures a seamless hiring process
    • Negotiate and recommend employment offers by partnering with hiring manager, senior management and compensation department
    • Leads, coaches and mentors junior team members
    • Source candidates through social platforms, networking, online job posting, referrals and ATS
    • Generate a pipeline of talent for immediate needs as well as, future talent for succession planning
    • Participate in strategic staffing initiatives including budgeting, work-flow, and process improvement
    • Continue to evolve internal processes, ensuring consistency & compliance in candidate experience, job descriptions and interview techniques

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
    • 5+ years of recruiting experience including relevant experience within a fashion/retail creative environment
    • Strong experience and aptitude in current recruiting technologies: ATS, internet sourcing tools; ICIMS experience strongly preferred
    • Strong people management and mentoring skills
    • Ability to demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion, decision making and professional courtesy
    • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing high volume requisition workload
    • Excellent customer service skills; ability to develop and foster relationships with internal and external customers
    • Demonstrated strength in creative thinking and providing innovative and proactive solutions to recruiting challenges
    • Successful negotiation and influencing skills
    • Strategic thinking and decision making
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
