  • Specific Responsibilities

    Position Overview: 

    • Forecast and manage replenishment assortments for various divisions.
    • Monthly sales and shipping projections for forecast.
    • Report sales and inventory to management, generate ad hoc data analysis and create executive reports.
    • Place Replenishment production to maintain targeted inventory levels.
    • Drive best in class forecast accuracy, recommending changes to product and seasonal demand curves.
    • Maintain optimal inventory levels to achieve sales forecasts, fill rate standards and weeks of supply.
    • Tracks replenishment orders and work with Production to expedite when appropriate.

    Specific Responsibilities:

    • Weekly
      • Compare unit selling, sell-thrus vs. forecast
      • Track orders vs. forecasts
      • Publish updates on ship vs. forecasts
      • Monitor availability, sales trends and inventory
    • Bi-Weekly
      • Publish Weeks of Supply (WOS) report
    • Monthly
      • Develop forecasts based on seasonal models by account, current retail selling and wholesale shipments
      • Based on revised forecast, units in the warehouse and units in the pipeline propose orders to maintain planned WOS inventory
      • Present revised forecasts and proposed orders to management
      • Adjust orders as needed and hand-off to production
      • Analyze by door sales, identify opportunity and risk
      • Partner with sales and retail planners to identify sales opportunities, generate reports and analysis to identify opportunities for incremental orders
      • Recap and analyze actual sales results to forecast, adjust where needed
    • Quarterly
      • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities
      • Roll-up and publish hindsight information for each business cycle
      • Support new product performance by reviewing and updating sales estimates and history
    • Seasonal
      • Collaborate with sales, planning and merchandising on future business strategies
      • Seasonal Replenishment Model review vs. actual sales and shipments to optimize inventory
      • Size Analysis
      • Fit Analysis
      • Wash Analysis
      • Analyze sales and stock levels to ensure reorders reflect sales trend

    • Strong Retail Math skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills a must.
    • Bachelor’s Degree.
    • 3+ years’ experience in Replenishment Planning.
