  • Specific Responsibilities

    The HRIS Specialist oversees all aspects of our human resource information systems (HRIS) for a growing population of c.750 employees within 15 entities across 7 countries. This position is responsible for ensuring that accurate data is entered and managed across all systems. The position also develops improvements for HRIS design, workflow, reporting, maintenance and training. The HRIS Specialist reports to the VP of HR in Europe and works very closely with colleagues in the US.

    Strategy & Innovation:

    • Ensure accurate employee and company data is recorded across all information systems
    • Ensure seamless data integration for acquisitions and new geographies
    • Work with our global HR teams to develop more efficient data processes based on changing business needs
    • Collaborate with our European legal team to modify company processes in accordance with European data protection legislation


    Operations & Results:

    • Manage day-to-day data entry to HRIS which includes confidential personal, employment, and payroll information
    • Work especially close with our European payroll manager to compare and analyse data
    • Provide HRIS expertise to the European HR team to ensure accurate and lawful data collection
    • Maintain HRIS data integrity through regular audits and analysis
    • Produce and maintain standard reports for HR and senior company executives
    • Deliver ad-hoc reports to various company teams
    • Update organizational charts for the European businesses
    • Manage our absence tracking system for all European entities, including: setup, modification, data flow and troubleshooting
    • Ensure that new employees receive access to relevant HR systems in a timely manner

    Customers & Relationships:

    • Work closely with our US HRIS team and outside vendors to support and implement data projects and initiatives
    • Serve as the European HRIS contact for Europe-based employees, US colleagues, third parties and other stakeholders
    • Build relationships with senior executives and HR teams in other countries to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data management
    • Maintain regular communication with our European legal team
    • Assist with training that relates to HRIS and data management

    Leadership & Teams:

    • Perform as integral member of the European HR team
    • Comfortably work with division heads and company executives
    • Connect and liaise with the US HRIS team
    • Function as a trouble-shooter for data-related issues
    • Conduct training on HR information systems as needed
    • Drive performance from the HRIS side

    Skills and Requirements

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • 2+ years of HRIS experience including data management, reporting and analysis
    • Strong performer with proven record of results
    • Critical thinking skills
    • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
    • Strong understanding of HR processes and terminology
    • Experience with working with employees based in other European countries
    • Experience with ADP Enterprise and other ADP products a plus
    • Experience with organizational charting, absence management, performance management and recruitment systems is important
    • Thorough knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Word, PowerPoint
    • Ability to speak, write and clearly communicate in English
    • Ability to apply the strictest level of confidentiality to all work performed
    • Ability to speak another European language a plus but not required
