  • Specific Responsibilities

     To manage the inventory for the Footwear and Accessories division, ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
     Maximise the realisable value of the company’s stock

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Strategy & Innovation:

    • Reporting to the Head of Merchandising and working closely with all departments to support the company strategy, business priorities and targets
    • Develop a strategic relationship with the Senior Sales Managers to liquidate stock efficiently, taking action as required to clear in season overstocks, through wholesale, outlet or web channels
    • Provide weekly reporting to management on the company’s stock position
    • Producing and presenting a range of financial/non-financial reports for Department Heads and the leadership team as required

     

    Operations & Results:
    • Allocate stock upon receipt liaising with Senior Sales Managers on customer priorities
    • Provide regular free stock reports across all brands and seasons
    • Manage each phase slow selling products and release overstocks as required, paying particular attention to seasonal stock banks

     

    Customers & Relationships:

    • Develop relationships with key partners to maintain a collaborative working approach

     

    Leadership & Teams:

    • Carry out month end stock takes, liaising with finance to ensure stock levels match across all locations and systems
    • Manage annual stock take with 3PL’s
