  • Specific Responsibilities

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

     

    1)    Responsible for setting and delivering category brand sales budgets

     

    2)    Work with the sales managers to deliver customer and territory strategies to meet sales budgets

     

    3)    Establish brand distribution strategy by territory for the category

     

    4)    To partner with Finance to create an analysis and reporting system, that is fed back to all departments in the business, encouraging a dynamic environment which maximises sales

     

    5)    Provide the creative team with range plans and guidelines to support market opportunities, customers and brand requirements seasonally

     

    6)    Provide the creative team with reports that support the above

     

    7)    Be the main point of contact for brand owners or GBG EFA Creative Director for owned brands

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Strategy & Innovation:

    ·         To own the category / brand , delivering budgeted sales and maximising potential by territory

     

    ·         To determine the brand distribution strategy by territory for all brands

     

    ·         To support SD in defining and delivering brand / category strategies to the sales team

     

    ·         To develop with sales managers individual strategies for Major accounts to differentiate each offer,

     

    ·         To work closely with Finance to establish a regular, relevant reporting system

     

    ·         To work in partnership with Product Managers, reviewing and presenting all seasonal lessons learnt information to Creative and Marketing teams, in line with critical path

     

    ·         To ensure all exclusive requirements are presented to PM’s as part of the lessons learnt process

     

    ·         Manage exclusive requirements as needed

     

    ·         Support creative team during the development process, involved in process as required to deliver ‘best in class’ products

     

     

    ·         To determine all collateral requirements for the category by territory and communicate to Marketing team

     

    ·         To present to Territory Managers, seasonally,  he complete tool kit at seasonal launch, including the delivery of all product ranges, collateral and SMS

     

     

    ·         To agree and authorise trade show participation and support as required

     

    ·         To set up, review and maintain channels of consistent communication across all levels

     

    ·         To work with relevant designers in establishing regular update meetings and setting best practice

     

    ·         To be responsible for maintaining the brands’ DNA across all channels, to include showroom presentation, trade shows, customer ecommerce sites

     

    Operations & Results:

    ·         To be key communication point with brand owners/ GBG EFA Creative Director

     

    ·         To understand all individual market dynamics by territory

     

    ·         To prepare all presentations for new licence businesses

     

    ·         To attend and lead all partner meetings for new business within the category

     

    ·         To produce a weekly sales bulletin for each territory manager

     

    ·         To report effectively and routinely to management on performance against sales targets and objectives

     

    ·         To provide weekly updates with Sales Managers on sales and relevant agenda issues

     

    Customers & Relationships:

    ·         To build strong relationships with key partner personnel, internal and external, and maintain open communication channels

     

    ·         determine PR strategy for owned and controlled brands, working with the Marketing Manager and ensuring that strategy is managed effectively

     

     

    Leadership & Teams:

    ·         To support Territory Managers as category specialist

     

    ·         To foster a dynamic environment by sharing results and data, which motivates Territory Managers and Account Managers

     

    ·         To support Territory Managers and Account Managers as required on product and brand strategy by customer

     

    ·         To build a dynamic relationship with the design team and to ensure they are updated with all relevant trading information

     

    ·         To maintain knowledge and understanding of all on-going sales and related operational activity

     

    ·         To ensure the alignment of all brands’ vision and objectives across all territories

     

    Skills and Requirements
