Manager, Procurement (Retail)

Specific Responsibilities

The Manager, Retail Facilities will be responsible for coordinating and managing the facilities-related needs of the North American retail stores across all brands.

  • Collaborate with Store Operations and FP&A teams, providing indirect spend analytics and forecasts for store budgets and G&A expense accounting
  • Negotiate Repairs and Maintenance contracts including security, music, waste, HVAC, cleaning, etc.
  • Manage facilities maintenance work order protocol including training of store associates
  • Participate in senior management meetings on capital projects. Monitor capital spending on all major projects.
  • Assist in financial reconciliation with Retail Finance, including but not limited to fixed asset clearing, inventory accounting, and cash reconciliation. 
  • Serve as Project Manager for new store construction, remodels, retrofits. Responsible for all aspects of the permitting process, AutoCAD drawings, on site management, and store opening preparation.
  • Establish and govern standard operating procedures to consolidate common store supply item purchases across all store concepts
  • Manage and coordinate store closings
  • Manage contracts for general contractors for all construction projects 
  • Utilize Verian Procurement system to control approvals and track spending on all capital and repair vendors
  • Develop and track store supply procurement metrics across brands; create vendor scorecard for senior management
  • Manage energy dollars for all store types nationwide, including set up of new accounts
  • Obtain required business licenses and renewals as needed for store locations

Skills and Requirements

  •  7+ years of experience in Retail environment supporting Facilities Maintenance
  • Strong project management skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience with purchase order systems a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a changing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written & oral)
  • Ability to create ad hoc reports and analysis
  • Degree BS/BA or equivalent experience
