    Purpose of the Job

     

    This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can juggle multiple projects and thrives in a changing, fast-paced, commercial and creative environment.

     

    The candidate must be customer facing, a self-starter, committed and highly motivated in delivering and implementing the commercial and brand strategy for a portfolio of clients including Gordon Ramsay and Paul Hollywood. 

     

    Along with a passion for food and restaurants, they will have the gravitas to work with key decision makers and provide brand and licensee/franchisee management.  The candidate will also have proven project management skills with demonstrable results.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    Strategy and Innovation

    Drive long-term high revenue partnerships

    Confident using multiple data sources to create compelling strategic recommendations and brand plans

    Researching, developing and writing brand, retail and category strategy

    Share insights on retail analysis, trend and trade performance

     

    Operations and Results

    Focus and deliver on the budget and KPI’s set

    Take responsibility for specific sectors and categories and manage the Paul Hollywood licensing programme

    Create 3 year projections for specified brands in line with overall forecasting processes

    Responsible for the management of the whole brand extension and NPD process for specified brands

    Oversee and manage existing key licensees/franchisees performance within specified categories

     

    Customers and Relationships

    Manage and build strong working relationships with licensors/licensees/franchisees

    Ensure brand extension is managed effectively and efficiently

     

    Leadership and Teams

    Inspire and motivate more junior members of the UK team to achieve strategic goals

    Build, nurture and manage partnerships, both new and existing for all specified brands

    Work cohesively with other team members to deliver successful brand extension programmes

     

    Skills and Requirements

    Skills and Qualifications

    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a brand/customer marketing/product management or franchise management role

    Preferred qualification – Business/Marketing Degree

    Experience of working with businesses and key decision makers across multiple categories

    Ability to implement projects with a high level of detail and complexity

    Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload

    Positive can-do approach and solution orientated style

    Persuasive skills to influence others
