  • Specific Responsibilities

    • Develop a calendar for regular visits to assigned retail accounts and stores, and adjust based on selling results or specific visit requests.
    • Analyze merchandising and floor setup at each location to ensure product is displayed based on brand’s merchandising guidelines.
    • Ensure all new products are appropriately presented on the floor, and seasonal product and markdowns are positioned correctly based on time of year.  Pull product from stockrooms to make sure all styles and skus are represented on the selling floor. 
    • Ensure visual merchandising and point-of-sale materials align to merchandising guidelines. 
    • Conduct product seminars, and guide sales associates on product’s features and benefits.  Generate In store events and selling challenges to motivate sales within the store and territory.
    • Develop business partnership with all levels of our customers sales team from sales associates to store and district management.  Discuss current business from top-line sales to individual collection and style level.  Prepare and discuss a post-visit action plan. 
    • Prepare and submit store visit report for SVP, Sales and other account specific personnel.  Prepare & submit a shop visual report for SVP, Sales.
    • Liaison between store and company, provide feedback to the company on selling.
    • Partner with store management to negotiate space, develop sales strategy, etc.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
    • 2 to 5 years of retail merchandising experience preferred
    • Ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs. of product, particularly between stockroom and selling floor.   
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Exceptional floor merchandising skills.
    • Results focused, team oriented, innovative, mature, and articulate.  
    • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
