Planning Internship:

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Support Planning team with daily tasks associated with current accounts.
  • Run relevant weekly reports to help analyze and manage business.
  • Pull sales & selling data from account portals and internal portal systems.
  • Provide analytical support and review reports; uncover issues & opportunities, providing feedback to Planning & Sales team.
  • When relevant, communicate with external account Planning teams.
  • Support the implementation of standard Planning process and tools.
  • Assist Planning team in preparing for meetings; help prepare agendas, financial files, and reports.
  • Ensure proper support is also provided for Sales meetings & market appointments.
  • Opportunity to work in tandem with Sales, Planning, Merchandise, Design & Production.
  • Provide general support duties as needed.

Skills and Requirements

  • Ability to work in NYC for the full 10 week program from June 4, 2018 to August 10, 2018.
  • Matriculated in a Bachelor’s degree program (juniors & seniors).
  • Demonstrated interest in the fashion industry through prior internship experiences, course selections, or extracurricular activities.
  • Team player with the ability to handle a fast paced work environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and multi-task.
  • Proficient with the following programs: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management and presentation skills.
