• Design Manager

  • Specific Responsibilities

    ·         Lead and manage team of designers

    ·         Ensure design briefs are followed through in accordance with seasonal guidelines

    ·         Ensure specification standard and process is to required level and meets required time deadlines, laid out in critical path

    ·         Ensure all samples are ready for review in line with critical path

    ·         Ensure option count guidelines are adhered to

    ·         Design collections as required

    Strategy & Innovation:

    ·         Lead the Accessories business design function

    ·         Design the xxx collection each season

    ·         Integrate and manage the design of additional brands as they enter the business portfolio


    Operations & Results:

    ·         Ensure all samples are to the required standards.


    Customers & Relationships:

    ·         Develop a close relationship with the Sales and Merchandise team ensuring seasonal reviews on:

    i)        Future customer product & marketing requirements.

    ii)      Future option counts & requirements.

    ·         Support the presention / handover products & collateral to sales team and key business partners (bi- annually).


    Leadership & Teams:

    ·         To lead and manage a team of designers

    ·         Liaise as required with the Sales and Merchandise team to understand and deliver specific product requirements.
