Specific Responsibilities

  • Partner with talent acquisition on new hires and ensure onboarding paperwork is completed on time and accurately.
  • Maintain employee files for active and terminated employees.
  • Assist with new hire orientation (logistics, materials, participant list, etc.).
  • Coordinate training activities including scheduling, materials, meeting set-up.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs for assigned client groups, and to messages submitted to HR.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Skills and Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Human Resources, business, or other related field preferred.
  • Strong internship experience required and at least 1 year of work experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills, and highly detail-oriented.
  • Results-focused, team-oriented, innovative, mature, and articulate.  
  • Excellent writing skills with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • Superior Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data, create and edit worksheets including formulas and formatting, and use V-Lookup and Pivot Table functionality.
